Our Student Support Programs are designed to identify and address students' individual learning needs through a proactive and data-driven approach. Therefore, in addition to our core programming, we also offer a wide range of programs to support students' academic, English language development, and wellbeing learning needs.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) Support
We are committed to supporting students from diverse linguistic backgrounds as they develop proficiency in English. Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) program is designed to provide tailored support, ensuring that every student can access the curriculum and thrive. Our team of EAL specialists works closely with classroom teachers to create a collaborative approach to language development. Through targeted instruction, individualized support, and integrated classroom strategies, we help students build confidence in their English skills while continuing to progress academically.
Social, Emotional and Wellbeing Support
We employ a full-time onsite Social, Emotional, and Wellbeing counselor who works with all students and our families. They support the implementation of a comprehensive Social and Emotional Learning program that addresses the social and emotional wellbeing for all learners, while also providing preventive services and response to identified learner needs.
Learning Support
Using a structured framework, our team of learning support teachers analyze student data to understand where each learner is in their academic journey. By closely monitoring progress and identifying areas where additional support is needed, we implement early interventions that help students stay on track and build confidence in their learning.
Health and Safety: School Nurse
To ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, we have a full-time school nurse on staff, dedicated to promoting student health and responding to student health needs throughout the school day.
By having a medical professional on-site, ISK ensures that students receive prompt and professional attention, helping them feel safe and cared for while at school. Whether responding to everyday medical concerns, assisting with health screenings, or promoting overall wellbeing, our school nurse is an integral part of our commitment to student care and success.
Safe and Secure Campus
Our secure campus is carefully monitored by a professional security team, ensuring a safe environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive with confidence. Our security team is present on campus at all times, overseeing entry points, conducting regular patrols, and maintaining strict visitor protocols. We utilize controlled access measures, security cameras, and emergency response procedures to ensure a safe and protected learning environment. By prioritizing security, ISK provides peace of mind to families and staff, creating a school atmosphere where students can focus on their education, personal growth, and overall well-being without concern.
