Polish Bilingual Language Pathway
Honoring Polish Heritage & Language
A true international education honors and nurtures each child’s cultural roots. Our Bilingual Polish Language Pathway is designed specifically for Polish-speaking students to retain and deepen their heritage language while thriving in an English-speaking, international environment.
Through consistent and rigorous instruction, Polish-speaking students continue to grow in their reading, writing, and oral communication skills in Polish, developing not only academic fluency but also a strong cultural identity.
Our unique teaching approach is grounded in the IB Learner Profile and uses modern, student-centered methods. Polish language classes are designed to be inquiry-based, reflective, and standards-driven, helping students become thoughtful, open-minded, and effective communicators in their native language.
Students explore Polish literature, history, and traditions in a setting that celebrates their heritage, while also connecting their learning to global themes and skills.
Why Our Polish Program Matters:
- No Need to Choose: Students don’t have to give up their language or culture to study in English. At ISK, they gain both.
- Academic Excellence in Polish: Students strengthen their Polish language skills to a high level, ensuring they remain confident readers, writers, and speakers in their native language.
- Cultural Pride: We integrate Polish history and culture into our learning so students stay connected to their roots.
- Inquiry-Driven and Reflective: Lessons reflect the values of the IB Learner Profile, helping students grow as knowledgeable, caring, and internationally-minded individuals.
- Prepared for the Future: Whether your child’s path leads to university in Poland or abroad, they will be fully prepared, linguistically, culturally, and academically.
We understand how important it is for families to see their children retain and celebrate their Polish identity. Our program ensures that this happens. At ISK, your child doesn’t leave their culture behind; they bring it with them, and we value it.
